GIYL Summer Teams

Registration is closed and we are starting up our summer programming this week! Here is all the information that you will need. We will do our best to update this information as quickly as possible.

Gr. 3/4 Team
Current 3rd and 4th graders will practice/play at Vet's Park on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting Tuesday 6/6. Practices will be at 6:00pm and games will be at 6:15pm. The game schedule will come out in the coming weeks. Liam Atkins will be coaching the team and will be aided by some of our Varsity helpers: Griffin Mahoney, John Buchanan, Connor Morrow, Gavin Dombrowski.

Gr. 5/6 Team
Current 5th and 6th graders will practice/play at Vet's Park on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting Tuesday 6/6. Practices will be at 6:00pm and games will be at 6:15pm. The game schedule will come out in the coming weeks. The coaches will be Nick Martino, Chris DeWitt, and Brett VeRost and will be aided by some of our Varsity helpers: Zach Bridenbaker, Caleb Meyer, and Gino Fagiani.

Gr. 7/8 Team
Current 7th and 8th graders will practice/play at the High School's stadium turf field on Tuesday and Thursday evenings starting Thursday 6/8. Practices will be at 7:00pm and games will be at 7:30 pm. The game schedule will come out in the coming weeks. Derick Isler will be coaching the team and will be aided by Varsity Assistant Coach Joe Fanara.

Varsity/JV
Incoming freshmen through seniors will be participating in the ULax High School league. The team will play their games at Kevin T. Keane Sports Park (Nardin's athletic fields). Games will be Wednesdays starting June 28th. Practices may be scheduled throughout July and August, look for email communication from the coach. Varsity Coach Andrew Williams will be coaching the team and will be aided by Tucker Leggett. Information on the league (schedule, roster, stats) will be available on the ULax website.
